After being inundated with emails and messages of recognition and support (from people I know and don’t know) about the release of my book, there is one key question that keeps being asked.
“Michael, I admire what you are doing and I want to know how I can help?”
The answer is to spread the word about my book because as stated by one reviewer,
“This book will definitely help many of our young people who fell into the wrong crowd to deal with their own demons. Many of today’s teenagers are trapped in a dangerous lifestyle with no means to escape. This book will aid in bringing down the belief of ‘I am invincible because I am young’. I truly believe that my book has a great message aimed at the youth of today in helping them steer through life’s modern obstacles no matter what they are. However, there is only so much I can do and I need your help.
Speak to your teachers, your local school, book clubs, community groups, the law enforcement, your local politician (mayor, governor, premier, and so forth), social clubs, youth groups, local radio station, etc and let them know.
Another excellent way to do this is to speak to your local library and tell them to order my book. It won’t cost you anything and libraries are always looking for books to add to their collection. To do so libraries will need the following:

My book is so much more than just a book about gangs, it’s about “choice and consequences”. By empowering the youth of today with the knowledge and tools to succeed in life we give them a head start in becoming the positive leaders of our society. Coming from a nursing background, I honestly believe that the best cure is prevention!
